Hi everyone!!! It’s me again. I know you’ve all been wondering what I’ve been doing with my time since I haven’t been here… and yes, I am sorry about that. But I’ve been trying to get through the NaNoWriMo, and failing. Unfortunately, between some personal stuff, and trying to get Anya’s character right, I haven’t been able to reach my 50k word goal. But strangely, I’m okay with that. I’ve taken on a tremendous responsibility of helping out a family member with her kids. Now I am basically a single mother of 3. And again, I’m okay with that.
As for the milestone…. a while ago I was looking at my reports from Amazon and saw that Tangled Temptations was selling in the Amazon UK store. I was thrilled. I still am. (I’m a Whovian* and just on the minuscule hope that The Doctor (or any actor portraying him) may be reading my book is a small little fantasy that I keep tucked under my pillow.) But I had told a few family members that I have become an international author, and maybe a couple of friends.
Well, I was just checking one of my email accounts and saw that there was a payment from Amazon. I checked it, hoping that there was nothing wrong. I had already been paid. It was better than I had hoped! It was a payment for the books that I sold in Amazon UK!!!! And I have to say, when doing something you enjoy, when you get paid for it, it makes what you’re doing all the more real.
So I can sit back and say that I am officially an international author!
I’m going to go and run around my house screaming now!
