Dealing with the Devil… I guess…

Hey everyone! I know it’s a little early for my update, but since I kinda cheated everyone out of updates for like a week or two, I figured that I’d post now since I’m already awake and working.

Last time we talked I mentioned that I was working on something new and once I saw if it was going to go anywhere I’d tell you a little more about it.

I’m in Chapter 4, so I’d like to think it’s going damned good. LOL.

I don’t have an official title for it yet. But I’m going to be dealing with Demons, Devils and Angels. It’s primarily dealing with a family of Devils, and their trying to maintain Balance here on Earth. This first book is centering around Lucinda Duncan, the youngest child of Lucifer, and a former police detective Gideon Dantes.

Now, I have to say that I’m enjoying myself with this one. I don’t have to try to keep it funny and light as I do with Maxwell Investigations, and I’m not trying to throw every creature in folklore in this like I did with the High Council. It’s rather bloody and bloodthirsty. Lucinda had once trained as an MMA fighter, and Gideon was a SVU cop. They’re going to balance each other out rather well. I can’t wait to get it out for everyone to read.

Okay, that’s my gushing over a new novel. I’m going back to it now!!

See ya later!!!

Hey everyone!!! Sorry I couldn’t come up with a better title, but hey, at least it’s something LOL.

Now, I know it’s been a couple of weeks. I’ve been doing some thinking and while I ADORE the idea I was having with Norse Myth, I think I’m going to try something else at the moment. And currently, I’m on chapter 2, about 3000 words in!!! When I get a little further, and I get some feedback from a couple of BETA readers, I’ll let you know what I’m up to!

Alright, I’m going to keep this update uber short. Tonight is my big brother’s birthday and I have to see how I can mess with him over the phone 🙂

Anyways!!! I’ll keep you all posted on how things are going! If anything you can follow me on Twitter @dawnibanez.

See ya next time!!!
